The countdown clock to the Children of Asia Games has started in Kuzbass!

There are 345 days left till the 2nd Winter Children of Asia International Sports Games, which will be held in Kuzbass from February 23 to March 5, 2023! Today, the citizens of Kuzbass have taken part in the Morning Dozen with the Children of Asia.

The ceremony of starting the countdown timers and the Mass Morning Dozen with the champions was held simultaneously in Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk, Mezhdurechensk and Tashtagol. These cities will host these prestigious international competitions in 2023.

The event united Kuzbass Administration employees, members of the International Committee of The Children of Asia Games, famous Kuzbass athletes, Olympians, young participants of the Games, and all those who choose sports and a healthy lifestyle.

Victoria Fedorova led the warm-up in front of the Kuzbass Ice Palace in Kemerovo. Victoria is an all-round champion of Kuzbass in speed skating among juniors and the silver medalist of the All-Russian competition Silver Skates 2022. In 2023, Victoria will compete for victory in the Children of Asia speed skating games.

In Novokuznetsk, the Mass Morning Dozen was held by Marat Chirkov, a two-time world champion in powerlifting among juniors, twice silver medalist of the world junior championships, and a winner of many domestic championships.



Darya Ivanova (Astapenko) ran the show in Mezhdurechensk, and she is a multiple winner decorated skier of different competitions in Russia and a participant of the world championship.

In Tashtagol, the event leader was Olga Nasonova, who participated in the 2006 Olympics in Turin and won a bronze medal at the 2003 World Universiade.
