The representatives of the Kuzbass Regional Center for Sports Facilities and 2023 Children of Asia Games Directorate came to Primorye to participate in festive events of Summer Games, to present Winter Children of Asia Games and to visit the ceremonies of opening and closing of the international competitions.
The sportsmen’s delegations start to come to Vladivostok from different Asian countries and other territories of Russia. The Siberian Federal Union team, which includes Kuzbass athletes, arrived in Primoye. 12 sportsmen will represent Kuzbass at the Summer Children of Asia Games.
What is more, 15 volunteers from Kuzbass will work in Vladivostok.
On Thursday, 28 July, there will be the opening ceremony of the 7 Summer Children of Asia International Games in the Fetisov Arena concert and sports complex.
Sportsmen from 13 countries (Armenia, Afghanistan, India, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Mongolia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Lebanon) and 8 Russian regions (Moscow, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Republic Sakha (Yakutia), Far East, Siberian, Ural Federal unions) will take part in the event.
The athletes will compete for 273 sets of medals in 19 sports: badminton, basketball 3х3, Hapsagay wrestling, Kurash wrestling, boxing, beach volleyball, judo, track-and-field athletics, mass wrestling, table tennis, shooting, combat sambo, Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, archery, breakdancing, taekwondo, mini-football, rhythmic and artistic gymnastics.
