While meeting with The Governor of Kuzbass Sergey Tsivilev the following questions were discussed: operational readiness of the sports facilities and infrastructure, transport logistics, accommodation of participants and guests, medical maintenance of the competitions.
Sergey Alekseyev, Deputy Chairman of the Kuzbass Government and Sergey Myaus, the Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of Kuzbass also participated in this meeting.
«Our meeting with the Governor of Kuzbass is so-called synchronising the time. We have not so much time left before the start of The Winter Children of Asia Games, so we need to discuss everything in detail. As a result, all necessary actions and corrections will positively impact the process of preparation and organising the Games. Kuzbass has surely taken its place on the Russian sportive map as one of the most active regions. I guess that the gained experience of organising forums and championships in the region will help to hold the Winter Children of Asia Games 2023 at a very high level», – underlined Vladimir Maksimov.
«All sports facilities will be ready and tested with mock competitions. We build and reconstruct everything by ourselves: it is faster and the quality is higher.
The reconstruction of The Kuznetsk Metallurgists Arena will be over till the end of the year. We will use all these sports venues to develop children's and youth sports. New equipment will be bought for all sports venues», – said Sergey Tsivilev.
Vladimir Maksimov and Aleksey Puzynin, the Head of the 2023 Children of Asia Games Directorate in Kuzbass visited one of the key sports venues of the Games - the Kuzbass Ice Palace.
The Kuzbass Ice Palace will be the venue for the ceremony of opening and closing of the Games, and the competitions in ice skating and short track will take place there.
The Intergrated centre of volunteer corps management and Municipal volunteer corps are located in the Kuzbass Ice Palace.
