Children of Asia --
Beginning of Victories
Children of Asia International Sports Games are held every 4 years since 1996. First president of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) founded the Games as a tribute to the Centennial of modern Olympic movement.

In 27 years more than 10,000 athletes from Russia and over 30 Asian countries competed in the Games.

For many young athletes the Games became springboard to elite sports.
On December 19, 2020, the Governor of Kuzbass S.E. Tsivilev together with president of Children of Asia International Committee Vladimir Maksimov signed agreement on hosting of the 2nd Winter Children of Asia International Sports Games from February 23 to March 5, 2023.

For the first time in the history of the Games 4 locations will host competitions simultaneously: Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk, Mezhdurechensk, Tashtagol municipal district.
Approximately 1000 athletes will compete in 10 winter sports:
Cross-Country Skiing, Speed Skating, Ice Hockey, Snowboard, Alpine Skiing, Figure Skating and others.

Snow Volleyball and Esports are demonstrative sports of the Games, being it's speciality.
On January 24 Kuzbass took up the Games' Torch Relay with Novokuznetsk being the first city to host it.

The route of the relay ran along the central streets through objects that are significant for the residents of the city.

Special lanter was used to transfer the flame to the next location - Tashtagol municipal district.

On February 10, the Flame will arrive to Mezhdurechensk.
The Relay will finish in the first day of the Games on February 25 in Kemerovo.

Meanwhile, on February 2 the Games' mascot festival was held in Tashtagol and Sheregesh.
